Look who was in the house last night during our training with the teachers of Holy Child College of Davao City.
Michael John Cunanan, known as Sir Nike by his students at Living Stone International School in Angeles City, joined us in the virtual meeting.

Sir Nike shared his stories and experiences as a robotics teacher, coach, and advocate. He encouraged and inspired the teachers to keep going with what they had started.
Establishing a robotics program is long and tedious. “It’s not easy,” Cunanan said. “It requires dedication and passion from teachers and school administrators.”
“Running a robotics program is challenging but rewarding. It takes one small step at a time.”
A school that runs a robotics program is heading in the right direction toward the future. We are to prepare the next generation for the challenges ahead.
Sir Nike and his LSIS Nexus robotics team recently competed in the Universal Robotics Challenge last month in Osaka, Japan.
He hopes one day, students from Holy Child College of Davao City will compete in international robotics competitions and bring pride to the school and the country. Not only that, one of them might come out as an exceptional inventor and roboticist.
The virtual teacher training with Holy Child College of Davao City runs from October 9-11, 2024. It’s a continuing program of ISMS Robotics.

ISMS Robotics offers robotics education programs with curriculums, lessons, robot kits, and other educational materials.
